  2. 1...Nf6 – Black responds with 1...Nf6: developing the knight centrally, preventing an immediate e4, and keeping flexible options for future defense.
  3. 2.Bg5 – The Trompowsky Attack with 2.Bg5! You actively deploy the bishop outside the pawn chain, immediately pinning the f6-knight without touching c4.
  4. 2...Ne4 – Black chooses the most ambitious response: 2...Ne4! The knight leaps to the center, attacking your bishop directly to challenge its dominance.
  5. 3.Bf4 – You retreat the bishop to f4: keeping the active diagonal toward the center, preserving the bishop pair, and preparing to kick the knight with f3.
  6. 3...g5 – Black plays the reckless push 3...g5?! Desperate to kick the f4-bishop, but disastrously destroying the defensive barrier around their king.
  7. 4.Bg3 – You calmly retreat the bishop to g3: keeping control along the h2-b8 diagonal and inviting Black to commit further tactical overextensions.
  8. 4...Bg7 – Black places the bishop on g7: occupying the long diagonal, but their kingside structure is already fatally fractured and full of targets.
  9. 5.e3 – You support the center with 5.e3: securing complete stability and preparing the development of the b1-knight without conceding any tactics.
  10. 5...d5 – Black pushes 5...d5 attempting to claim space, but completely ignores the mortal vulnerabilities opened on the flanks of their king.
  11. 6.Nd2 – You develop the knight to d2: contesting Black's e4-knight and preparing a forced exchange that unlocks devastating attacking corridors.
  12. 6...Nxg3 – Black blunders with 6...Nxg3?! Believing they have won the bishop, but opening the h-file directly for White's heavy artillery.
  13. 7.hxg3 – You recapture with 7.hxg3! The h1-rook activates instantly without moving: Black's king cannot castle, and White has a winning attack.
